MDNA Skin by Madonna Review

I received this package a few months ago but I wasn’t able to put it to use since I was pregnant. Although it has a lot of natural ingredients, I was hesitant to use the magnetic gadget (you will see below). A few days ago, I had a little “me” time while Kat and Oli were both asleep and decided to try it out. My skins been super dull and dry & my undereyes looking like they need major help. Obviously I’m not getting my 8 hours of sleep with a new baby so it’s looking much darker than normal. In any case, let’s move on to the review!

One thing I know about Madonna is the fact that she takes care of herself. You can see it in her skin, face and body. I know she’s an avid yogi, health conscious, environmentally conscious and has probably used some of the best skincare the world has had to offer. With that said, I was super excited to receive this MDNA package.

First off, the packaging alone screams rich. It’s sleek, it’s luxury and most obviously, unique. I didn’t receive everything from her line but I did use and review everything they sent me. I received: the cleanser, the face serum, the moisturizer, the eye serum, eye patches and the clay mask. I’m going to tell you now, I LOVED them all. Here’s a breakdown:

Let’s start with the Chrome Clay Mask - the most luxury packaging I’ve received thus far. It came in a big box with the mask, the magnetic mask remover, the disposable sleeves for the gadget, a plastic spatula & even spare batteries!

The Chrome Mask is a rejuvenating mask with Volcanic Ash & White Willow Bark which help draw out impurities in the skin while leaving it hydrated and moisturized. It has magnetic particles from the Volcanic Ash so when you use the magnetic gadget, it pulls off the mask onto the tool. Once the mask is removed, you’ll notice your skin looks very wet & dewy. I assume this is the “Holy Water” that is infused in the mask, also known as, thermal water. It truly left my skin SO clean, minimized my pores and looked super hydrated. Seriously, coolest thing on the market.

By the way, I didn’t use the disposable sleeves, which was a big mistake; I couldn’t remove the mask off the magnet lol!

Next up, I used the Eye Masks. After later review, I learned Madonna suggests keeping these little babies in the freezer. The eye mask feels not only cool to the touch but also later after removing. This eye mask was amazing: left my undereyes looking so fresh and instantly diminished the look of the puffiness. It also has “holy water” and ingredients such as Citric Acid and Hyaluronic Acid to help hydrate and diminish the look of darkness and fine lines.

Tip: You can use the other end of the magnetic gadget to massage all the ingredients into your skin. I love this as I feel sometimes when we use our fingers, we waste a lot of product.

The cleanser was one product I was “eh” about. This face wash smells like you are at a spa but the wash was okay. However, it has really good ingredients. The eye serum was divine; in an oil dropper, it keeps your undereyes so hydrated, smooth and silky. I can’t wait to try it with some concealer on top of it! The face serum and moisturizer was simply heavenly. Not much to say about it except that my skin was glowing ALL day! Madonna even mentioned how there’s an ingredient in there that will give your skin this subtle beautiful natural glow - true story!

Overall, the line didn’t leave me disappointed, like some celebrity lines that often do. You can tell there was a lot of time, thought and work put into every single product. I really feel like I gave myself a spa-like treatment today. I was obsessed with the outcome of my skin and this is just after one use! Although MDNA is a little on the pricier side, consider the luxury packaging and prestige ingredients.
